Dr. Towhidul Islam is an Associate Professor of Marketing, University of Guelph, Canada. His PhD is in Management Science from Imperial College, University of London, UK. He has held research and faculty positions at the University of Sydney, Australia, University of Technology, Sydney, Australia, Dalhousie University, Canada, and University of Northern BC, Canada. His main research interests are in consumer science and new products diffusion, especially in areas of application of statistical and econometric methods to further understanding of consumer behavior and improve marketing decision making. His work has appeared in the Journal of Consumer Research, Management Science, International Journal of Research in Marketing, the Journal of Business Research, the International Journal of Forecasting, the Journal of Forecasting, and the European Journal of Operational Research, among other outlets.
