Dr. Katja Mueller works at Informa TM, providing expert analysis on mobile broadband services. She tracks mobile operators’ performance in Western Europe, technology migration issues, business innovation and pricing strategies. Her findings are regularly published across a number of market intelligence data services. Before joining Informa TM, Katja Mueller worked for many years in the market information sector as research director and product manager. She is regularly invited to speak at telecoms industry to promote a research-intensive approach to understanding global telecoms trends. Earlier, at Point Topic, a UK-based broadband research company, she headed numerous consultancy projects which have focused on NGN and FTTH deployments. Dr. Mueller holds a PhD in Oriental Studies from the University of Cambridge and an MSc in Geographical Information Science from the University of Leicester. She has been awarded several national awards for her past geographical research and is a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society, UK.
